Getting behind the wheel for the first time can feel a little strange, but there’s no need to rush it. At 88 Driving School, your first lesson is about getting comfortable, learning the basics and getting used to being in control of the car with a patient instructor beside you.
First Driving Lessons

Your first lesson is when you get familiar with the car. You also begin to understand how the parts work together. We go step by step, at a speed that feels ok. You will have time to settle in before we go on.
First, you will learn the controls. Then you will practice moving off. Next comes stopping and steering. You will also cover simple road awareness. If you’ve never driven before, that’s absolutely fine. We’ll start from the beginning and work through things step by step.
