If you want to make quicker progress, an intensive course gives you the chance to spend more time driving without large gaps between lessons. At 88 Driving School, we’ll focus on the areas you need to work on and help you move towards your test.

Our 30-hour Intensive Driving Course is for people who want a clearer plan for their practice. Instead of spreading lessons over many weeks, you can use the time more effectively. That way, you get more chances to practise and keep the details in your mind.
The sessions can focus on vehicle control, where to position on the road, how to handle junctions, and what to do at roundabouts. You will also cover manoeuvres, observation, and spotting hazards. As you move through the course, your instructor can spend extra time on the parts you find hardest before your test.
You do not need to start from zero to join an intensive course. If you have driven before and you want to improve, your instructor can focus on what you should work on next.

When lessons are scheduled closer together, you do not have to relearn things after a gap. You can practise the same topics and build up your confidence.

With an intensive course, you get more chances to practise the parts you find difficult. After that, day-to-day driving feels more natural.

As you progress, you can spend time working on the driving skills, manoeuvres and road awareness needed for your practical test.

Choose your lesson and arrange a date and time that works for you.

Meet your instructor, get settled in the car and talk through what you’ll be learning.

Start with the basics and gradually get used to controlling the car and being on the road.

With lessons brought closer together, you can spend more time practising instead of having long breaks between sessions.

Your instructor will look at where you are now. They will then set lessons around what you should work on next.

Regular driving gives you the chance to put previous lessons into practice and keep improving from one session to the next.

Go through your course with intent. Focus on vehicle control, road awareness, manoeuvres, and the things you will need for your driving test.
