1. How much does a driving lesson cost?
A one-hour driving lesson costs £37.50. If you know you’ll need several lessons, we also have block booking options that you can choose from.
2. Can I start driving lessons if I’ve never driven before?
Yes, that’s absolutely fine. Most people start without knowing what to do. Your instructor will show you the basics first and give you time to get used to the car before moving on to more difficult parts of driving.
3. Do you teach both manual and automatic?
Yes, we teach both manual and automatic driving. If you feel unsure, you can speak with your instructor before you start.
4. What happens in my first driving lesson?
In your first session, you will learn the basics and get used to the car. You will go over the main controls, safety checks, steering, how to move off, and how to stop. Your instructor stays with you during the whole lesson, so you do not need to know everything beforehand.
5. What if I’m really nervous about driving?
It is very normal. Lots of people feel tense at first when they sit behind the wheel. Our instructors understand this. They take things at your pace. You will practise and build confidence step by step.
6. Can I take an intensive driving course?
Yes, you can. We offer a 30-hour intensive course for £1,200. This can suit you if you want your lessons grouped closely and you prefer to concentrate for a shorter time.
7. How many lessons will I need before I’m ready for my test?
It varies and depends on how fast you pick it up and how often you practise. Some learners need extra time with roundabouts, parking, or clutch use. Your instructor will check your progress and tell you what to focus on.
8. Do you offer refresher lessons after I’ve passed?
Yes, if you have not driven in a while, you may feel out of practice, or you might just want more practice. You can book a refresher lesson. We will focus on the bits you feel less confident with.
9. Can I get extra help with motorway driving?
Yes, we offer 3 hours of motorway driving training for £135. It’s there for drivers who want to get used to motorway driving and feel more at ease when they’re out on their own.
10. What is included in the Pass Plus course?
The Pass Plus course is 6 hours and costs £270. You’ll get experience across different types of roads, including urban roads, country roads, dual carriageways and motorways. The course also covers night-time driving and driving in different weather conditions.
